Who should be part of your production team?

To develop an effective interactive scenario, you’ll want to make sure you have the right team in place. The size of the team will depend on the scale and complexity of your project.  Here are some tips to help you build a good team.

Key roles

  • Learning producer/Instructional designer/Project lead – They will be in charge of managing the project from start to finish and should have knowledge on the learning, technology and production
  • Subject matter experts – They will ensure the scenarios are authentic and accurate. Most importantly they will ensure the learning meets overall objectives
  • Scriptwriter – Script Writers within the project are an important role. They need to have a clear understanding of the objectives and learning so that they can produce realistic dialogue.
  • Director – A director will ensure the script and objective, translate into engage content for the learners
  • Production crew – This will include, actors, editors, camera operators, sound engineers and game builders. Many of these roles will need to be sourced externally. But don’t underestimate your in-house talent.
